Jeff Curran, who names UFC legend Royce Gracie as the MMA fighter who inspired him to fight professionally, amassed an impressive record in EC (Extreme Challenge), CC (Chicago Challenge), HOOKnSHOOT, FCC (Fight Club Canada), MAC (Midwest Absolute Challenge), SB (Super Brawl) and others before making his UFC debut in January 2004. Despite a loss in that match, Curran went on to gain further honors in a variety of other franchises, including KOTC (King of the Cage) and WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting). Curran brings tough credentials to his position as head coach and trainer for his Curran Martial Arts team, including a black belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu, an International Pro Am Silver Medal, 2001 Relson Gracie National Gold Medal, Greater Midwest Submission Wrestling Superfight Champion for 2002, Shooto 143 lb. champion, professional boxing experience, and more.
