A well rounded fighter who can apparently draw upon hidden reserves of strengths when the pressure is on, Kawajiri has taken many a man down to the mat, only to finish him off in short order. A mean and determined competitor, “The Crusher” made his Shooto Debut in 2000 and his PRIDE debut in 2005, with recent victories over Luiz Firmino, Kultar Gill, and Luiz Azeredo in the DREAM franchise further establishing Kawajiri’s name. |
